Overview
- Design Fee Payment: The full design fee is due upfront before any creative work begins.
- Design Fee Refund: The design fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances once paid, as it compensates for initial time and creative effort.
- Revisions Included: The fee covers the initial proof plus a limited number of revision rounds (i.e. three).
- Extra Revisions: Revisions exceeding the included limit or requiring a major redesign will incur additional hourly or fixed fees.
- Final Approval: The client is responsible for proofing all text, spelling, and details. Changes requested after final written approval will result in extra fees.
- Design Ownership (IP): The Designer retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the artwork and design files.
- Client Use: The client receives a limited license to use the final design only for the agreed-upon event invitation.
- Prohibited Use: The client may not use the design for commercial purposes (e.g., logos, merchandise) or modify the files without permission.
- Printing Costs: The design fee does not include the cost of printing, materials, or assembly.
- Project Cancellation: If the client cancels before printing, the design fee is retained, but any prepaid printing costs may be refunded, depending on whether materials have already been ordered.
